InterVac Design is affiliated with two South Florida metal finishing companies that share one plant in Opa-locka, Hard Chrome Enterprises and Action Plating Corporation. They are separate companies with their own shops, staff and certifications. We support them and are glad to point you their way. They serve customers across the United States, and parts ship to their Florida plant from anywhere in the country.

Hard Chrome Enterprises (HCE) has plated and finished metal parts in South Florida since 1969. It started in Palm Beach County and in 2026 moved into the larger Opa-locka plant it shares with Action Plating. It is known for industrial hard chrome and runs a full range of plating, surface treatment and non-destructive testing for aerospace, automotive, firearms, medical and industrial customers nationwide. Its focus is quality work with quick turnaround.

Action Plating Corporation
Precision plating · FAA repair station · Opa-locka, Florida
Action Plating Corporation is a precision plating shop in Opa-locka, in Miami-Dade County. The Bain family founded it, and four Bain brothers built it into a shop known for careful plating, strict quality control and good customer service. Hard Chrome Enterprises acquired Action Plating in March 2025. The Bain family stayed on to help lead it, and the move gave the group more production space and more plating capacity. Both companies now work out of the same plant in Opa-locka.
